The LI Alliance Peace Fellows Program is a peace education program, in collaboration with Hofstra University’s Center for Civic Engagement,  on peace, nonviolence and alternatives to war and conflict. Fellows will examine America’s Role in the World — by exploring the issues of peace, nonviolence, human security, and the global challenges that we face in the 21st Century. Peace Fellows will be trained to facilitate deliberative discussions on and off campus about current realities and possible alternatives and be trained for issue advocacy. The program will include readings, weekly discussions, lectures, training on moderating deliberative dialogues, and an assessment of the program.
